1981 Suntory Oolong Tea introduced.

Tonegawa Brewery, the Company's third brewery, opened.
1983 Château Lagrange (Bordeaux, France) acquired.
1984 China Jiangsu Suntory established as the first joint venture beer company between Japanese/Chinese partners.
