Suntory is to release Korean Shochu “KYOGETSU Premium”
Suntory Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, President: Nobutada Saji) is to release KoreanShochu “KYOGETSU Premium” on June 29, 2004 nationwide across Japan.
Korean Shochu has become highly popular during the past few years in Japan. Amongst of all, “KYOGETSU Green“ has been highly praised by many customers for its posh and angular designof the bottle, as well as forits committed qualityachieved through the use of natural water from “Mountain Seorak”, one of the best waters in Korea.Sales record of KYOGETSU Green between Januaryand April 2004 has increased by 20% over the previous year, while continuing to havesteady sales in trying to gain the No.1 brand position within the Korean Shochu market in Japan.
“KYOGETSU Premium”, to be released,is produced to taste rich and mild by adequately blending long-term maturatedand unrefined liquor with the baseof Ko-type Shochuwhich had been produced byusing pure natural water from “Mountain Seorak”. For the bottle design, “velvet green”is adopted for its expensive-looking color, following the “KYOGETSU Green”. A glamorous image is produced with the golden colored label as well.
Suntory will continue to strengthen the brand of KYOGETSU, by adding this “KYOGETSU Premium” as a new lineup.- Note -
