Suntory to Begin Operations at Daiba New Office

Suntory Ltd. is to begin operations at the Daiba new office from January 5, 2005.
The new office design, supervised by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, crystallizes a concept of “making a comfortable workplace to deepen communication among the employees and to develop their creativity for lively inputs.” The office is environment friendly, advancing energy conservation measures and abundantly using such eco-material as whisky barrel recycling.
The new base of the Suntory group will integrate five internal companies formerly dotted around Tokyo, including the business support and corporate functions of Akasaka Tokyo branch. Additionally, Suntory Foods, Ltd. will move its headquarters from Sendagaya to the same building, and will start operating at the new location on January 11.
