“Kagura No Mai Mizu-wari Can” enters the market
∼ Introducing “Kagura No Mai” mizu-wari in can, featuring mild taste and fine aroma of buckwheat ∼

Suntory Ltd. is to introduce “Kagura No Mai Mizu-wari Can” starting Tuesday 22nd of February, throughout Japan.

“Kagura No Mai”, a honkaku (“the real thing”) shochu, is a soba jochu (buckwheat shochu) manufactured by Kagura Shuzo (Head Office: Takachiho-cho, Nishi Usukine-gun, Miyazaki prefecture / President: Kouichi Sato), a distinguished shochu manufacturer in Miyazaki. From the sale of product in March of last year, its mild taste and fine aroma of “soba” (buckwheat) is gaining good reviews from a wide variety of customers. The “Kagura No Mai Mizu-wari Can” introduced is a tasteful, natural mizu-wari (shochu diluted with water) which enables people to easily enjoy the taste of “Kagura No Mai” wherever they want.

•Features of the contents
“Kagura No Mai Mizu-wari Can” is a recommended, best tasting “Kagura No Mai” mizu-wari. Using plenty of carefully selected buckwheat, pursuing clear, easy-to-drink taste using techniques from long years of shochu making, it produces a fine flavor, giving a subtle “soba” aroma when tasted.

•Feature of packaging
Imaging the cutout paper style design “erimono” (cutout paper ornaments), decorated for Kagura dance, the drawings depict abundant nature and tradition and the soba flower of Takachiho, Miyazaki. The package has a matte texture finish with white and black contrast with a red strip of paper giving much impact.
