Suntory’s New Single Malt Scotch Whiskies
The TORMORE 12 Years Old
The GLENDRONACH 12 Years Old
SCAPA 14 Years Old
—Further enlivening the growing single malt whisky market—
Suntory Limited will begin offering TORMORE 12 Years Old, GLENDRONACH 12 Years Old and SCAPA 14 Years Old single malt Scotch whiskies on Tuesday, February 21.
Weather and climate are just some of the factors that greatly affect the aging of single malt whiskies, giving products from different distillery their own unique fragrance and taste. Over the past five years, the single malt whisky market in Japan has grown an estimated 50%, with Suntory seeing a healthy 20 percent increase over the previous year in sales of its single malt whiskies in fiscal 2005.
Suntory hopes to further stimulate the market with the addition to its whisky lineup of The TORMORE 12 Years Old Single Speyside Malt Scotch whisky, The GLENDRONACH 12 Years Old Highland Malt Scotch whisky, and SCAPA 14 Years Old Single Orkney Malt Scotch whisky.
