Since 2008, we have been providing beverages to the Red Cross for blood donors. We have also conducted a range of other activities such as providing scholarships to schools in areas neighboring our plants, helping children with disabilities through various programs, providing medical equipment to hospitals, and participating in local religious ceremonies.

Louis Royer supports many local cultural activities, including the Cognac Marathon, La Route des Tonneaux (a festival that recreates how cognac barrels were shipped in the past), La Part des Anges (a charity auction), and the Cognac Blues Passion Festival (a music festival).

We support the EPODE Program for preventing childhood obesity. EPODE is a community-based obesity prevention program that works to promote the adoption of healthy diets and active lifestyles. The program provides guidance with the aim of identifying issues in individual households and improving dietary habits.

Helping Impoverished Households through Glass Bottle Recycling
- The Hope in a Bottle Project
In 2010, we launched the Hope in a Bottle Project as one of the activities we undertook to commemorate the 175th anniversary of our main product, BRAND'S. Under this project, the glass bottles used for BRAND'S products are reused as building materials for the homes of impoverished households in Thailand's Pathum Thani and China's Guangdong provinces. Employees in both countries have participated as volunteers and lent their hands to the construction work.

Interactions with Local Communities at Special Events
- The Medoc Marathon
We strive to interact with the local community through our participation in a charity auction and by donating prizes to local sporting events and organizations. Château Lagrange also helps at the internationally famous Medoc Marathon by setting up water dispenser stations for the approximately 8,000 runners who take part every year. In September 2010, we participated in the 26th Medoc Marathon.
