Height: 5.6 Diameter(rim, foot): 20.2, 11.1
Edo period

On the circumference of the inside of the dish, a clever design of four braided cords with tassels are painted in red and cobalt blue. The intersection of the cords is varied to avoid an otherwise monotonous design. The tips of the tassels turn inward, accentuating the white blank area in the center. The lines look sleek and the colors are bright. The tips of the tassels are painted in a pointillist manner. On the back of the bowl, shippo-tsunagi design ( interlocking circles ) appears in three places on the circumference. The foot is decorated with a comb-teeth motif.
