The sides of the square dish are low. On a white slip ground, a snow-covered Mt. Fuji is painted with iron-pigment in the manner of a brush-and-ink painting, with the ink inscription "Jakumei-ga" in the lower right-hand corner. On both inner and outer surface of the side, an irregular arabesque scroll is painted. The signature "Kenzan" appears in the lower right-hand corner of the bottom.
