This cut glass bowl with blue overlay has five blue circles of different cutting patterns: strawberry diamond; hobnail; a combination of strawberry diamond, palisade and criss-cross; hemp leaf; and hailstone. Not many glass bowls have this variety of cut patterns, making this piece especially valuable. The bottom is cut in a 16-point star shape, revealing an unusually positioned circle of blue overlay.
