WA-mode -Japanese female mode: traditional costume & make up- December 23, 2007 - January 14, 2008

The term WA-mode refers to traditional Japanese fashion, and this exhibition introduces the culture of the colorful and gorgeous clothing and accessories worn by Japanese women through kosode kimono, hair accessaries, makeup tools, Edo and Meiji period ukiyoe woodblock prints from the museum's collection, and Suntory Museum Tempozan posters as well.

Tuesdays, New Year's Day, and during exhibition preparation periods.

[Admission]

Adult ¥1,000(¥900)/College, High School Student ¥800(¥700)/Elementary, Junior-High school students and under are free.
*A group discount applies for a party of 20 or more.
*With a certificate of disability, the admission fee of a disabled person and a care-giver will be waived.
