| In 1995, Denmark's Carlsberg Breweries donated this four-fifths replica of Copenhagen's famous Mermaid to the City of Osaka, as a symbol of friendship between the Ports of Osaka and Copenhagen. The statue is located offshore from the Mermaid Open Space Park west of the museum. |
