Suntory Limited announces the nationwide launch of three new single malt whiskies from the illustrious Glen Garioch distilleries nestled in the highlands of Scotland. GLEN GARIOCH 10-Year-Old Whisky, 12-Year-Old Whisky, and 15-Year-Old Whisky will be on store shelves throughout Japan on Tuesday, August 23.
Launching these GLEN GARIOCH Highland malts, Suntory further expands its lineup of malt whiskies. With a product line featuring five Scotch whisky regions (Speyside, the Lowlands, the Highlands, Islay Island, and the Orkney Isles), the single malt whisky market in Japan is set to rev up even more.
GLEN GARIOCH achieves its well-balanced, full-bodied taste by preparing the barley malt in soft, natural water, fermenting it using dry yeast, and carefully distilling it twice over. The whisky is then aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
