Third Tennensui Water Source Production Starts at Suntory Natural Water Products Buna No Mori Plant in Okudaisen Area Eco-Friendly Plant Produces Outstanding Mineral Water from a Rich Natural Environment


The Buna No Mori Plant for natural mineral water started production on March 26. Constructed and managed by Suntory Group company Suntory Natural Water Products Limited (Headquarters: Tokyo), the plant is located in the Okudaisen area of Tottori Prefecture.

The site represents a new base of production in Western Japan for Suntory's growing mineral water business. "Suntory Natural Mineral Water (Okudaisen)" is produced under strict hygienic conditions using advanced equipment and production techniques as a natural, safe, and refreshing water product. Integrated processing at this plant includes production of PET plastic bottles, filling and packaging, and quality control. Under the corporate slogan of "Water for Life, Suntory," the plant has adopted a range of eco-friendly practices in harmony with the local community and natural environment.

Suntory Natural Mineral Water (Okudaisen)

Exceptionally pure mineral water from the rich natural environment of the Okudaisen area is used for "Suntory Natural Mineral Water (Okudaisen)." This clean-tasting water has a hardness rating of 20, and it can be enjoyed as-is or in recipes or mixed drinks.

Now that the Buna No Mori plant in Okudaisen is operational, the water joins "Southern Alps" and "Aso" varieties as the third in this product line, ensuring a stable supply of Suntory Natural Mineral Water.
