Suntory Wine International Limited began accepting orders on July 14th for 2009 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau.
Beaujolais nouveau is the current year's vintage from Beaujolais, France. It is enjoyed worldwide as a fresh wine offering a taste of the recent harvest. In particular, many wine lovers look forward to the nouveau of France's renowned "King of Beaujolais," producer Georges Duboeuf. These wines are bursting with delightful fruit aromas.
Suntory Wine International will offer the perennial favorite, Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau, as well as four other varieties.
In anticipation of the official nouveau release date (the third Thursday in November), celebrity spokespeople will help publicize nouveau in Japan, where Suntory promotions will also include events with suggestions of complementary foods.
Red fruit and flowery aromas make this wine a pleasure to drink. Light on the palate, yet refined. An enjoyable freshness only available during this season.
Surpasses typical nouveau in richness, produced through careful selection of grapes exclusively from 38 small towns in the northern Beaujolais region. Distinguished by concentrated fruit aromas and flavors.
A superb choice, into which Georges Duboeuf has poured all of his skills and experience in nouveau. Only the most prized grapes that have soaked up the summer sun are harvested for this wine.
As a fresh take on nouveau, rosé was added to the Georges Duboeuf portfolio last year. Cheerful colors and fruity flavors make this rosé nouveau memorable.
White nouveau produced entirely from chardonnay grapes grown in the Mâonnais region north of Beaujolais. Refreshingly dry and brimming with fruit flavors.
