Pursuing Businesses That Enrich People's Lives

The Suntory Group develops businesses centered on the three themes of nature, health and the living environment.
Suntory Flowers, Ltd., a Group company in the flower business, is developing new flower seedlings of exceptional quality one after another. Its products, including such new petunia varieties as the Surfinia, Million Bell and Fiorina, have found markets in Japan and over twenty countries worldwide. Innovation and aspiration also characterize our operations in the cut flower field, where we conducted a nationwide launch of Moondust, the world's first blue-purple carnation, in 2005. We continue to propose "a lifestyle with flowers" that touches customers' hearts.
Tipness, Ltd. operates a trendy membership fitness club with branches located primarily in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area and the Kansai and the Chukyo regions. This business has seen steady expansion in association with the Japanese public's increasing interest in fitness since the first club opened in Tokyo's Shibuya district in 1987. Currently operating 46 clubs with 190,000 members, Tipness is Japan's fourth-largest fitness club operator.
Another Group member company, Suntory Shopping Club, Ltd., is engaged in the development of sales promotion equipment and sales supplies for nationwide use in venues such as liquor stores and restaurants and bars as well as in Internet and catalog mail-order sales. This company also makes use of campaign know-how derived from Suntory Group operations to conduct a comprehensive support business connecting corporations with the market, including corporate campaign planning development and consulting concerning campaign office operation.
Suntory Publicity Service Co., Ltd. (SPS), meanwhile, provides high-value-added hospitality services such as concert hall reception services. It is currently expanding its operations into such new fields as temporary staffing, and compiling a record of achievements nationwide as a designated manager of public cultural facilities entrusted with facility operation. The company also supports corporate clients with strategic PR and marketing as a pioneer of the service management business.
