This whiskey would become Jim Beam, the world's #1 bourbon brand, which is currently overseen by seventh generation Beam family Master Distiller, Fred Noe. Suntory was established in 1899, when founder Shinjiro Torii started producing sweet wines. He then went above and beyond to produce the first Japanese whisky, and today the company is the leading whisky distiller in Japan, best known for its flagship single malt whiskies, Yamazaki and Hakushu, and the blended whisky, Hibiki.
