BEAM SUNTORY WHISKIES WIN 15 GOLD MEDALS AT THE INTERNATIONAL SPIRITS CHALLENGE 2017

Fifteen whiskies from the Beam Suntory portfolio have been awarded gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2017, a worldwide tasting competition held in the UK.
Gold medal recipients in various whisky categories include Suntory Whisky Hibiki 21 Years Old, Suntory Whisky Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select, Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky Mizunara 2014, Yamazaki Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition 2016, Hakushu Single Malt Whisky 25 Years Old, Hakushu Single Malt Whisky 18 Years Old, Suntory Single Grain Whisky Chita Distillery, Jim Beam Devil’s Cut, Knob Creek Rye, Auchentoshan 12 Year Old, Bowmore 12 Year Old, Bowmore 18 Year Old - Travel Retail Exclusive, Glen Garioch 12 Year Old, Glen Garioch Founder's Reserve and Ardmore 12 Year Old Port Wood Finish.

About the International Spirits Challenge
The International Spirits Challenge is a competition held every year in the UK, the home of Scotch whisky. In the Whisky divisions, medals are awarded after a blind testing conducted by about 10 testers. These testers are blenders, distillery managers and other industry professionals, and they perform sensory inspections on each of the over 500 whiskies submitted for judging from around the world. The ISC is regarded as an authoritative arena for judging the quality of the entries by the exquisite sensory skills of the panel of whisky-making professionals.
