Is there a priority booking?

Can I photograph or film the performance?
No. Cameras, video recorders, or indeed any audio or visual recording devices are strictly prohibited. Please ensure all mobile phones and electronic equipment are switched off during the performance. During the curtain calls is also prohibited.
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, we have a free cloakroom attended by a member of staff where you can leave coats and luggages. The cloakroom is available when the doors open and closes approximately 20 minutes after the end of the concert.
Please note, on occasion larger musical instruments can be accommodated upon request. Please contact your nearest staff. Valuables and perishables cannot be accommodated.
Can I bring my own refreshments?
You may not bring your own food and drink into the auditorium. The Bar and Refreshment Lounge ‘Intermezzo’ is available for food and refreshments pre-concert and during the interval.
Where can I smoke / vape?
Suntory Hall is a non-smoking venue. Please note this includes all smoking materials including vapes and electronic cigarettes.
Where is the taxi stand?
There is a taxi stand on Roppongi-dori Ave.
What should I wear to a concert?
There is no dress code for concerts at Suntory Hall — wear whatever you feel comfortable in. However, please refrain from wearing clothes, shoes and accessories made with materials that may make noise to avoid disturbing your fellow audience.
I don't speak Japanese.
We have English-speaking staff available. Please find a receptionist with the ‘ENGLISH’ badge.
What happens if I'm late?
Latecomers will be permitted to enter the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance. This can vary from performance to performance. Please contact your nearest staff.
I've lost my tickets. What should I do?
Please contact the organiser of the event.
What happens if a concert is cancelled?
Occasionally events are cancelled due to unexpected circumstances. In these cases, please contact the organiser. In the event of a cancellation the Box Office and ticket agents will make every effort to contact you with the details you provided when booking. The organisers reserve the right to alter the programme or artists for any given performance.
What is the minimum age a child should be to attend a concert?
Children 6 years of age and over, accompanied and supervised by an adult, are very welcome at the Hall. Under 6s are encouraged to participate in our events for under 6s programme.
I'm unable to attend a performance for which I have booked tickets. What should I do?
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. Also, tickets issued by Suntory Hall must not be re-sold for profit or commercial gain. Tickets will become void if this is found to be the case.
Security checks
Please allow adequate time when travelling to the venue – bag security searches may be in operation.
How can I hire Suntory Hall?
To ensure the quality of services to the customers, we recommend a local agent to hire the Hall.
