Giving back to society

Across many generations, the Suntory Group has been deeply involved in cultural and social contribution activities based on the belief of its founder, Shinjiro Torii, that businesses should be implemented under the spirit of ‘Giving back to society’. He believed that profits gained from business should be used in three ways: to improve services for customers, to expand business, and to give back to society.
Suntory Hall reflects this spirit in all its activities ever since our establishment in 1986. Especially, the music programmes geared towards children who embody the future and young professionals, and various initiatives to make our hall accessible to everyone, we named them ‘Enjoy! Music Program’ in 2010. We endeavours to become a place where people can come together to share the true joy of music.
