The new beverage is tastier and the logo on its container is larger to give it a stronger presence in the marketplace. Boss Black is the top seller among all brands of unsweetened black canned coffee, with year-on-year sales showing a growth of 14% last April. A 190g can of Boss Black retails for 115 yen . The products include 63 whisky and brandy items, such as HIBIKI, YAMAZAKI, HAKUSHYU, ROYAL, ZEN and X ?E O.; 10 beer products, including MALT'S and MAGNUM DRY; two domestic wines-SAISHOKU KENBI and WINE CAFE, and 11 imported wines from France, the United States, Italy, Chile and Germany. The facility, located atop Suntory Building in Akasaka, will remain open from June 1 until August 31. It has a seating capacity for up to 300. Opened in 1975, the beer garden has been an oasis for Tokyo's harried salaried workers, who can enjoy the finest draft beer and sunset views. An 'all-you-can-drink' set menu, includes B.B.Q beef, chicken and other snacks. It is available for 3,500 yen (up to 2 hours) with a reservation. The beer garden is open every day from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. except for Sunday, holidays and rainy days. The new Diet Pepsi uses a sweetener called ASK, which contains no calories and also increases the product's shelf life to six months, in the case of plastic containers, and seven months in the case of cans. The previous shelf life was around four months for both products. The package design will be revised as well. Every 500 ml plastic container of Diet Pepsi and Pepsi-Cola will come with a 'Pepsiman' bottle cap figurine during the campaign, which ends on June 1st. container from the end of June. The container is
made of mixed color glass, which the company succeeded

crystal rock glass to 5,000 people. No. 7640 May 9 Suntory will launch a SUPER HOP'S present campaign from the end of May. During the campaign, a set of leisure goods bearing the SUPER HOP'S logo will be given away to 10,000 applicants. The set includes a tote bag, portable cooler bag, quilted mat and large beach towel. To obtain the set, applicants must collect three to six proof-of-purchase stickers, which are affixed to cans (350 ml, 500 ml and 1,000 ml) of SUPER HOP'S. The campaign concludes on July 31 . No. 7639 May 9 Suntory will begin marketing SOREKARA, a new dry barley shochu, from May 16. The product will initially be sold in the following regions of Japan: Tokai (excluding Shizuoka), Hokuriku, Kinki, Chugoku and Shikoku. It will also be sold in Fukuoka, Saga and Nagasaki prefectures. A 720ml bottle of SOREKARA will retail for 1,180 yen.
No. 7638 May 9 Suntory will begin selling Super
Hop's MAGNUM DRY beer in a new 633ml
glass bottle on May 25. The product is currently
available in mini can (250 ml), regular can (350
ml), long can (500 ml) and jumbo can (1,000 ml)
sizes. A 633ml bottle of MAGNUM
DRY will retail for 240 yen. No. 7637 May 9 Suntory will begin marketing two new canned cocktails-Philippines-san no Mango-shu and Hawaii-san no Pink Guava-shu-on May 23, just in time for the summer season. The products are being added to Suntory's Totteoki Kajitsuno Osake line of cocktail beverages and a 250ml can will retail for 194 yen. At the same time, the company will begin selling Kishu-san no Ume-shu (plum flavor) in a 500ml plastic bottle for 290 yen .
