Suntory Introduces Kyung Woul Korean Soju
- Kyogetsu brand updated: Mellow both to the nose and on the palate -
Suntory Limited is pleased to announce an update to the Kyogetsu brand. Starting Tuesday, May 16, Kyung Woul Korean Soju joins Japan's No. 1 selling brand of Korean soju, known as shochu in Japan.
The Kyogetsu brand is beloved as Japan's leading Korean soju. Its superior quality comes in part from natural water from the Seorak mountains, a renowned source.
Newly released Kyung Woul Korean Soju is jointly produced with Doosan, based in Korea. Behind this name is Suntory's regard for tradition, as “Kyung Woul” is the Korean version of “Kyogetsu.”
