On June 5, 2026, we welcomed members of Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle Kansai (S&TDC Kansai) to the Suntory World Research Center.

S&TDC Kansai is a network that connects government, academia, industry, and members of the diplomatic community in the Kansai region. Through visits to companies, universities, and research institutions, as well as opportunities for dialogue, the organization promotes a deeper understanding of the Kansai innovation ecosystem.

During the visit, participants were given an overview of the Suntory Group’s research and development activities and toured the research facilities. They also engaged in lively discussions on a wide range of topics related to our research and developments in science and technology.

At Suntory Global Innovation Center, we promote a broad range of research activities spanning from fundamental research to applied research. By integrating knowledge from diverse fields, we continue to expand the possibilities of research. Looking ahead, we will continue to promote open innovation by sharing our research achievements and strengthening networks with research communities around the world, creating new value for society through our research.
