The Beginning Lounge welcomes visitors and serves as the check-in point for plant tours. Discover the history of the Osaka Plant through exhibits and films.

A garden pathway lined with seasonal plants inspired by gin botanicals and the six Japanese botanicals used in Suntory Japanese Craft Gin ROKU. Along the path, you will find words of wisdom from Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii engraved underfoot.

A bronze statue of Suntory founder Shinjiro Torii. Its striking design depicts Torii holding a bottle of Akadama Port Wine high in the air and stepping forward from the pedestal. The statue is said to embody the “Yatte Minahare” spirit at the heart of Suntory’s DNA.

At the Spirits & Liqueurs Craft Distillery, carefully selected seasonal ingredients are macerated and distilled using methods tailored to each ingredient, creating a diverse range of base spirits. On the tour, experience with all five senses the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind the spirits and liqueurs made here.
The Gift Shop & Gallery on the ground floor offers spirits and liqueurs made at the Osaka Plant, as well as exclusive merchandise available only here.

* Access is limited to tour participants. The Gift Shop & Gallery cannot be visited separately.

Here, spirits and liqueurs are filled into glass and plastic bottles, labeled, and sealed. Meticulous attention is paid to the appearance of every finished product before it is shipped to customers around the world.

This facility redistills alcohol to achieve a high level of purity and quality. Through continuous distillation using multiple columns, it produces clean, pure alcohol that serves as the base for a variety of spirits and liqueurs.

Soaking Tanks (100 KL)

7Soaking Tanks (100 KL)

Seven large 100 kL tanks are used to produce fruit-infused spirits from plums, peaches, and other fruits. Fresh seasonal fruits sourced from across Japan are infused whole in these tanks, which are among the largest at the Osaka Plant.
