- Parking capacity: Approximately 150 passenger cars (dedicated disabled parking space: 1; large buses may also park)
- Guests using wheelchairs and those requiring assistance, please be sure to contact us in advance so we may provide you with appropriate guidance information for your visit.
- Depending on the season, the Distillery may be crowded and delays are to be expected. Please be aware of this in advance.
- Anyone under the age of 20 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol and drinking under the age of 20 is prohibited by law.
Guests arriving by car and motorcycle (including passengers), or bicycle, and those under 20 years of age are not allowed to drink alcoholic beverages. - For the safety of our guests, to maintain product hygiene and quality, please follow the guidance of our staff members on site.
- Because this facility processes products fit for human consumption, for hygienic reasons, no food or drinks from outside the premises are allowed.
- Because this facility processes products fit for human consumption, pets are not allowed on the Distillery grounds except in some outdoor areas.
However, this does not apply to assistance dogs for the physically disabled. - We may be forced to close in the event of stormy weather or natural disasters such as a typhoon or fallen snow. Please check our website or call us before your visit.
Cancellation fees for transportation and lodging costs incurred as a result of such a closure are to be borne by the guest. Please be aware of this in advance.

Free Shuttle Bus
A free shuttle bus service is offered from JR Kobuchizawa Station.
Distillery guests are more than welcome to ride this convenient, free shuttle bus.
We thus urge you to check our website Notices section for service updates before your visit.
Timetable
Bus stop:
Exit the ticket gate at JR Chuo Main Line Kobuchizawa Station and turn left. Go down the stairs and you will find the shuttle bus stop in the rotary on your left.
Route:
JR Kobuchizawa Station → Hakushu Distillery and Suntory Minami Alps Hakushu Water Plant → JR Kobuchizawa Station
- The trip takes about 20 minutes in either direction.
- Due to traffic conditions, the departure time may differ from the posted schedule.
- Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please be aware that you may not be able to get a seat or board the shuttle bus.
- Traffic conditions may prevent the shuttle bus from arriving as scheduled.
- When the shuttle bus is not in operation due to unavoidable circumstances, compensation for alternative transportation will not be provided.

Local Bus Information
Local bus service also runs from JR Nirasaki Station to Hakushu Distillery and Suntory Minami Alps Hakushu Water Plant.
From Nirasaki Station, board at Bus Stop 3 → Get off at Matsubarakami
- This nearest bus stop is approximately a 10-minute walk away from the Distillery and Water Plant.
