Water Used in The Hakushu
Has Been Refined by the Minami Alps
Malt whiskies making up Suntory Hakushu Single Malt Whisky are prepared with natural water from the Minami Alps. This soft water, containing just the right amount of minerals from being refined through granite for approximately 20 years, is the foundation for the fresh aroma and light flavor of The Hakushu.

Hakushu Distillery Is a Forest,
And a Manufacturing Plant
Good whisky cannot be produced without coexistence with abundant nature. Based on this idea, “Mountain Forest Distillery” has been Hakushu’s concept since its establishment. The Bird Sanctuary is its symbol.
