Both the bright green bowl and cover have a waterweed and bubble design in relief. The protrusion on the top of the cover is a ten-petalled chrysanthemum. On the surface of the cover, in relief, seven rows each of waterweeds and bubbles are alternately applied by employing a mold-blowing technique. The bowl has repeated patterns of two rows of waterweeds and a row of six vertical bubbles. The bottom of the foot has a trace of a mold, and the bowl surface has three horizontal streaks indicating the use of a split mold. This is a masterpiece for a covered bowl of its size.
