The bowl has been bent inward on two sides and three small feet attached at the bottom. Its inside has a flora; motif consisting of seven circles arranged around a large circle, and brown glaze has been poured on the bent sides. The bent sides and the floral motif in reserved white are modeled on Bizen ware, but this bowl is by Nonomura Ninsei, who made a great success of Kyōyaki, Kyoto ceramics, doing away with the massiveness of the Bizen style to create a gracefully refined work.
