This work is thought to have been modeled on the metal water pitchers that were part of Buddhist altar fittings. Its neck is almost vertical, the shoulders broad, and the area near the bottom pinched in. The foot has been shaved to be quite shallow. The pitcher displays excellent, and highly precise, wheel throwing techniques. A green glaze has been applied to the entire surface, including the area underneath the foot, and has developed a deep green hue. The handle and mouth have been severely damaged.(Paragon or Puzzle?
