This exhibition presents two recent major additions to the Suntory Museum of Art’s holdings: a collection of European ceramics donated by Noyori Toshiyuki and a collection of ancient to modern glass received by ceramic artist Tsuji Seimei. These collections, assembled by individuals with superb aesthetic sensibilities, both reveal the characters of their collectors and invite us to imagine a vast range of times and places across the history of the world. The Noyori and Tsuji collections will be exhibited in two parts, with a total of about 200 works on display.
